As a Sydney-based Strategy Insights Consultant, your job will be to lead and manage the successful delivery of our clients’ campaigns. This role is primed for personal and professional development, and you’ll be reporting to a former senior top tier strategy consultant. 

You will be responsible for managing the growth of their business across Australia and international markets. You are an innovative thinker with the curiosity and ability to identify opportunities and drive them through to execution. As an integral member of the team, you’ll help define their strategic objectives and ensure they stay on track.  

We are seeking someone who is passionate about the retail industry and has a strong interest in the FMCG sector. You will have an interest and capability in big data and analytics and have effective team leadership abilities. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work and manage across a portfolio of clients.  
  • Build positive working relationships with senior client stakeholders 
  • Be able to answer strategic questions based on the data captured. 
  • Ability to perform the analytical work required to extract and storyline valuable insights for top tier FMCGs and retailers. 
  • Understand and juggle multiple complex project requirements to positively impact the P&L of each campaign.  
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy and consistency of data to maximise client satisfaction.  
  • Work with the company to develop creative ideas, identify new opportunities and make a significant impact.  
  • Lead and contribute to a high-performing culture.  
  • Supervise a team of remote data reviewers. 
  • Provide day-to-day support and manage career conversations. 

Qualifications required for this role:  

  • Bachelor and or Master’s degree in business or in a related discipline. 
  • Experience in FMCG or Consulting. 
  • Excellent business sense and strong analytical skillset to help clients extract the best insights from the data collected. 
  • Knowledge and experience interpreting qualitative and quantitative data sets and deriving relevant insights to solve commercial problems. 
  • A strong business development and commercial mindset. 
  • Excellent client leadership capability and confident presentation skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and regularly changing environment, juggling multiple stakeholders and projects at the same time. 
  • Very well structured, organised and ability to multitask as you will be responsible for multiple client campaigns running in parallel as well as the management of your team members. 
  • Great sense of ownership, personal drive and autonomy.

    As a Melbourne-based Senior Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for providing critical input in strategic conceptualisation and implementation. You will be expected to lead key workstreams – such as planning, internal analytical support, and strategic initiatives – to deliver key business outcomes.  

    You will work with senior leadership in developing and executing impactful strategic initiatives and play a role in supporting other business units and crews/ squads by delivering analysis and insights. In addition, you will undertake environmental analysis, conducting market and competitor research to provide insights that will help shape future decisions. 

    Key Responsibilities include: 

    • Identify and assess strategic issues and opportunities.  
    • Develop qualitative and quantitative analyses.  
    • Frame, scope, and structure strategic problems by identifying applicable strategic frameworks.  
    • Solve problems by using the 7 steps of problem solving and the influence model. 
    • Evaluate issues and initiatives, plan, and structure work streams tasks, manage timelines, and keep stakeholders informed about project progress.  
    • Understand the scope of work and the expectations of stakeholders, so you can make informed decisions about how to allocate resources. 
    • Bring clarity and understanding to a complex set of data by using data analytics techniques, data manipulation methods, information management principles, and systems knowledge.  
    • Engage with and leverage relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts when performing and validating analysis.  
    • Provide strategic recommendations, benefiting all parties concerned. 

    Key Qualifications include: 

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business strategy or management consulting 
    • Demonstrated success in structured problem solving that includes problem definition, hypotheses testing, analysis plan and facilitating discussion and focus groups 
    • Demonstrated success in advanced financial, business case and other quantitative analyses (e.g. forecasting, scenario modelling etc.)  
    • Project management experience with the ability to lead workstreams. 
    • Proficient in common strategy frameworks and methodologies 
    • Ability to identify and develop ideas that can add value to the business 
    • Identify relevant data sets  
    • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics, finance, statistics, or other business-related discipline

      As a Sydney-based Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and driving the company’s medium-term strategic agenda. You will work with other functions to manage and track business planning cycles. Additionally, as a member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing all initiative spend and gathering feedback on benefits realization. 

      You will need the essential skills of traditional management consulting, such as analysis and hypothesis-testing, along with innovative problem-solving skills using technology and data to address the company’s customer base. 

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Excellent time management and organisation skills with strong attention to detail to meet milestones and expectations.
